²⁷ Methuselah lived for nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and then he died.

²⁸ Lamech was one hundred eighty-two years old when he had a son. ²⁹ He named him Noah, saying, “This one shall be a consolation for the work and labor that we must endure because the Lord has cursed the soil.”
